Resin is pretty hard-wearing but to get the best out of your pieces and ensure they last a lifetime please try to adhere to the following advice. This will keep your pieces looking their best.

Do not submerge your resin pieces in water. Resin is not waterproof, only water resistant. 

Store your pieces out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the resin to discolour and soften.

If your piece is in regular contact with smoke it may discolour.

Avoid exposing your pieces to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes perfume, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover, antibacterial hand sanitiser etc. Solvents will react with the epoxy and cause it to become scaly, yellow, chip or break down completely.

Resin can be cleaned with a mild soap and water.

The products are only suitable for the presentation of cold food and drink and should be cleaned in warm water as necessary.

Due to the specific composition of resin, the products MUST NOT be used in the microwave or oven.

When you receive your products they would have only been cured for a few days. For that reason, when you receive the them, please do not place hot cups on them for at least 2 weeks as the resin still needs to fully cure! Anything hot may cause permanent damage to them during this period.
